Soup and Stroll: An Historic Walking Tour of Esperance's Revolutionary Streets

We will meet at the Esperance Museum at 123 Church Street, Oct. 11, at 1 PM for our annual Soup & Stroll Historic Walking Tour. We will walk from there to view the streets of Esperance, NY and hear their ties to Revolutionary War Veterans and the Veterans' stories including Maj. Gen. Steuben, the drill master of the Revolution and his two aids North & Walker who were lifelong friends. Also, included in the tour are the stories of a traditional Militia soldier and a soldier captured by the British & Indians. We will be accompanied by a soldier in period uniform and will finish our day sampling homemade soup at the Methodist Church Education Building, Tiffany Community Room on Main Street. The event is free although donations are appreciated to benefit the museum. Space is limited and fills up quickly, so register now to secure your spot! For those who missed our barn sale there will be an opportunity to review our barn sale treasures from 10-2 on October 11th as well.
