EHS Museum Community Picnic 2026

The weather was great, the company was wonderful, the music was lovely, the food was good, and everyone enjoyed the fun!  Over 50 people attended the event on Saturday, August 22, and as one attendee reported, "I saw our community coming in to look around, choose what they hoped to win for their door prize, and buy Scott's Eastman shirts!"  A dozen people competed in the first ever Museum watermelon spitting contest, the winner at 13 ½'!  There were 11 entries in the "What is It?" game.  Prize winners were:

1st Prize, a signed copy of Ken Jones' William North book: Ida and Jo Cogan 

2nd Prize, a t-shirt: Dr. Reyers Brusoe 

3rd Prize, a Village of Esperance Book: Lona Scranton.
